EconomyGUI

An admin menu for viewing and changing player balances, running mass payouts and reading economy statistics. It works through Vault, so it fits whichever economy plugin a server already runs.

EconomyGUI is a server plugin for Bukkit, Paper, Purpur and Spigot that gives admins a graphical interface for managing the economy instead of typing commands. Admins view and change player balances, run mass operations and read server-wide statistics from one screen. It runs on the server only, and players join as usual with nothing to install.

Server software and versions

  • Bukkit, Paper, Purpur and Spigot: Minecraft 1.16 to 26.3. The newest build needs no dependencies.

What admins can do

  • Give, take or set exact balances for individual players.
  • Give, take or set money for several selected players at once.
  • Search for players with filters for online, offline or selected.
  • Read global statistics, including total balance, average balance, and the richest and poorest players.
  • Review a transaction history of logged operations.
  • Switch the interface between English, Russian, German, French, Turkish, Polish and Brazilian Portuguese.

Setup and requirements

Place the plugin file in the plugins folder and restart, as covered in how to install plugins on a Paper or Spigot server. EconomyGUI manages an economy, it does not create one. A separate economy plugin does the actual bookkeeping, and EssentialsX is the one the creator recommends. PlaceholderAPI is optional and exposes the data to scoreboards and holograms.

Commands and permissions

  • /economygui gui opens the main menu (economygui.gui).
  • /economygui reload reloads the config and messages (economygui.reload).
  • /economygui reset clears search and filters (economygui.reset).
  • economygui.admin grants full access and update notices, and defaults to OP.
  • economygui.give, economygui.mass-give and economygui.mass-take gate single and bulk payouts.

This is an admin tool, not a player shop. The trade-off is scope. It is a management screen layered on top of another plugin's economy.

Questions about EconomyGUI.

4 questions

How do I install EconomyGUI?

Put the plugin file in the plugins folder of a Bukkit, Paper, Purpur or Spigot server and restart it. Install Vault and an economy plugin such as EssentialsX first, then run /economygui gui in-game as an operator to open the menu.

Does EconomyGUI need a permissions plugin?

No. The economygui.admin permission defaults to OP, so operators have full access straight away. A permissions plugin only becomes useful if you want to give staff narrower rights, such as economygui.gui without the mass-give and mass-take nodes.

Is EconomyGUI a shop plugin?

No. It is an admin interface for balances, mass payouts, statistics and transaction history. It does not sell items to players. It works through Vault with whichever economy plugin the server already runs, so it manages existing balances rather than adding a store.

Can I show EconomyGUI data on a scoreboard?

Yes, through PlaceholderAPI. It is an optional soft dependency, and the creator describes the plugin as ready for custom scoreboards and holograms. Install PlaceholderAPI alongside it if you want those placeholders available.
