HomePlugin is a server plugin for Paper, Purpur, Bukkit and Spigot that puts homes, warps, spawn management and teleport tools in one package. It runs on the server only. Players join as usual and install nothing.

Server software and versions

  • Paper: Minecraft 1.14 to 26.3. The newest build needs no dependencies.
  • Purpur: Minecraft 26.1 to 26.3. The newest build needs no dependencies.
  • Bukkit and Spigot: Minecraft 1.14 to 1.21.11. The newest build needs no dependencies.

Homes and teleportation

Players save several named homes, then rename, delete or relocate them and attach custom information. An interactive menu handles the same actions without typing. Administrators cap the number of homes through permissions.

  • Teleport requests with accept and deny, plus random teleport and a return to the previous location.
  • Configurable warmups, with titles, messages and particles.
  • Safe location validation before a teleport completes.
  • Global spawn management and a warp system.
  • Multi-world support, with restrictions per world.
  • Optional economy costs and cache management tools for administrators.

Commands

  • Homes: /sethome, /home, /homes, /delhome, /renamehome and /relocatehome.
  • Travel: /tpa, /tpaccept, /tpdeny, /rtp and /back.
  • Server locations: /spawn and /warp.

Installation

The steps are the usual plugin routine, covered in how to install plugins on a Minecraft server.

  1. 1.Get the newest file from the Versions tab on Modrinth.
  2. 2.Place it in the plugins folder of your server.
  3. 3.Start or restart the server.

Integrations and trade-offs

Vault adds optional economy costs. PlaceholderAPI can display home and teleport information, and LuckPerms is listed as an optional companion for permissions. HomePlugin includes built-in translations for English, French, Spanish, Russian, Ukrainian, German and Turkish. Java 8 or newer is required.

The scope is the trade-off. HomePlugin covers far more than a single home command, so a server that only wants /sethome carries features it may never use.

Questions about HomePlugin.

4 questions

How do I install HomePlugin?

Get the newest file from the Versions tab on Modrinth, place it in the plugins folder of your server, then start or restart the server. Players do not install anything. They join with a normal Java Edition setup and use the commands in game.

Does HomePlugin need a permissions plugin?

The plugin sets home limits through permissions, so a permissions plugin is useful for giving different ranks different limits. LuckPerms is listed as an optional companion. None of the current files require any dependency to run.

Can HomePlugin charge players for teleporting?

Yes, optionally. HomePlugin lets administrators add optional economy costs, and Vault is the integration listed for economy support. Vault is not required, since none of the current files list any dependency. Servers that want economy costs can install it; others can leave it out.

Which languages does HomePlugin include?

HomePlugin includes built-in translations for English, French, Spanish, Russian, Ukrainian, German and Turkish, aimed at international communities. It runs on the server only, and players join as usual without installing anything on their own machines.
