Better Enchanted Books is a simplistic 16x resource pack for Bedrock that redraws the enchanted book icon so books are easier to tell apart and spot. It is a plain resource pack with no companion pack or add-on required. The change is limited to the UI.

What changes visually
The pack replaces the stock enchanted book texture with more varied artwork. That makes the book you want easier to find at a glance.
The original texture is by Lupin, from the Java pack Beautiful Enchanted Books.
How to install Better Enchanted Books
- 1.Open the downloaded .mcpack file with Minecraft on your device. It imports automatically.
- 2.Open your world's settings and go to Resource Packs.
- 3.Activate Better Enchanted Books, then load the world.

The feature set is narrow by design. It does one thing, and it will not restyle anything else.

How do I install Better Enchanted Books?
Open the .mcpack file with Minecraft on your device and it imports on its own. Then open your world's settings, go to Resource Packs, activate Better Enchanted Books, and load the world. Resource packs are switched on per world, so repeat this for each world where you want the new book icons.
Is Better Enchanted Books available for Java?
No. Better Enchanted Books is a Bedrock resource pack, and Java uses a different format, so it will not load there. The original texture is by Lupin, from a Java pack called Beautiful Enchanted Books, which is a separate project with its own page.
Does Better Enchanted Books change dropped enchanted books?
No. The texture only replaces the icon in the UI. When a book is dropped as an item in the world, it looks like a normal enchanted book. On the HUD, only the selected item's texture is changed.
