Chests Reimagined is a 16x, traditional-style resource pack for Java that gives every chest a refreshed texture and a custom 3D model. Reijvi first made it as part of a larger Reimagined pack, then released it standalone for players who want the chests without the rest. This chests reimagined resource pack runs on Java only, and Bedrock uses a different format.
Supported versions
- Minecraft 1.8 to 26.2. The newest build optionally uses [ETF] Entity Texture Features - [Fabric & Forge] and [[EMF] Entity Model Features [Fabric & Forge]](/mods/entity-model-features).
What changes visually
- A custom 3D model, with new 3D openings when a chest is opened.

How to install Chests Reimagined
- 1.Get the .zip from the CurseForge page.
- 2.Open Options > Resource Packs > Open Pack Folder and drop the zip in.
- 3.Move the pack to the Selected side of the Resource Packs screen.

How do I install Chests Reimagined?
Place the zip in your resourcepacks folder, which you can reach through Options, Resource Packs, Open Pack Folder. Then move the pack to the Selected side of the Resource Packs screen. If the pack was made for another release, it still loads but shows an incompatibility warning.
Does Chests Reimagined need OptiFine?
No. The newest release requires no other mod. A mod like OptiFine that supports custom optimised animations is what makes the new 3D chest model lighter on performance than the vanilla one.
Is Chests Reimagined available for Bedrock?
No. This pack is a Java project on CurseForge, and Bedrock uses a different pack format. Java players can use it across the whole supported range from 1.8 to 26.2.
