What changes visually

The pack makes the effects that come up on screen with the EnhancedVisuals mod pixelated.

That makes it a good fit for a vanilla-friendly modpack where the default effect art looks out of place. The pack's own description pitches it at exactly that case.

How to install EnhancedVisual Pixelated

  1. 1.Set up the EnhancedVisuals mod, which this pack is made to play with.
  2. 2.Download the pack's .zip from CurseForge. The newest file is Pixelated_v1.3.5_EnhancedVisuals(nox_cgt).zip, dated 2026-05-05.
  3. 3.Open Options > Resource Packs > Open Pack Folder and drop the .zip in without unpacking it.
  4. 4.Back on the Resource Packs screen, move the pack to the Selected side.

If you run it on a game release it was not built for, it can still load but shows an incompatibility warning. Our guide to installing resource packs on Java and Bedrock covers the folder steps in more detail.

Known limitations

It is Java only, and Bedrock uses a different pack format. The pack gives you pixelated effects and nothing more, so look elsewhere for a full 16x retexture.
