Fresh Waystones Texture is a 16x resource pack for Java that improves the textures of the Waystones mod. It is the fresh waystones texture pack to pick if you already travel with the mod and want its blocks to look better.
Supported versions
- Minecraft 1.19 to 26.2. The newest build requires Waystones; some builds for 1.19 to 1.21.6 need no dependencies.
What changes visually
The pack targets the textures from the Waystones mod and leaves hitboxes alone.
How to install Fresh Waystones Texture
- 1.Install the Waystones mod first, since the newest release of the pack needs it.
- 2.Open Options, then Resource Packs, then Open Pack Folder, and drop the .zip into the resourcepacks folder.
- 3.Move the pack to the Selected side of the Resource Packs screen and confirm.
A pack built for a different release can still load, but it shows an incompatibility warning. The guide to installing resource packs on Java and Bedrock covers the screen in more detail.
Known limitations
The scope is narrow by design. It restyles one mod, at 16x, and nothing else. It is Java only, and Bedrock uses a different pack format, so it will not load there.
Questions about Fresh Waystones Texture.
4 questions
Does Fresh Waystones Texture need the Waystones mod?
The newest release requires the Waystones mod, because the pack restyles that mod's blocks. Without it there is nothing for the textures to apply to. Some older builds list no dependencies, but you still need the mod to see any waystones.
Does the pack change waystone hitboxes?
No. The creator states the resource pack will not change hitboxes. Only the textures are replaced, so a waystone keeps the same shape for collision and targeting as before.
Is Fresh Waystones Texture available for Bedrock?
No. It is a Java pack only. Bedrock uses a different pack format, so this .zip will not load there.
What resolution is Fresh Waystones Texture?
It is a 16x pack, listed under the 16x category on CurseForge.
