Survival Overhaul is a 16x resource pack for Bedrock that folds a dark interface, mob health bars, food stats and durability readouts into one survival-focused pack. HoneyStudios made it for Bedrock only, so there is no loader to match and no behavior pack to pair with it.

What changes in survival
- Dark UI across inventory, crafting, brewing, trading and settings, with all text switched to white for readability.
- An animated rainbow XP bar in place of the green one, plus slot numbers 1 to 9 on the hotbar.
- Floating health bars over 85 entities, covering hostile mobs, passive mobs and bosses. The player's own bar is left out.
- Clearer villager trades, with locked and unlocked offers easy to tell apart.
- Food stats shown in the item name on hover, and enchantment icons next to enchantment names.
- A brewing guide panel beside the brewing stand, listing potion recipes and modifiers such as Glowstone, Redstone, Gunpowder and Dragon's Breath.
- Durability numbers on the HUD with a blinking low-durability warning, a one-tap crafting table button in the inventory, and a lowered shield in first person.
- Random texture variations on grown wheat, carrots, potatoes and beetroot, with flowers on the plants, plus a better hay block.
How to install Survival Overhaul
- 1.Open the .mcpack file with Minecraft Bedrock to import it. The add-on install guide covers each platform.
- 2.Enable it under Global Resources, or in a world's Resource Packs.
- 3.Open the pack settings and choose the subpack, Health Bar Indicator On or Off.
- 4.If you also use Actions & Stuff, place Survival Overhaul above it in the pack order.
Compatibility and trade-offs
The pack works in Simple, Fancy and Vibrant Visuals graphics modes and alongside behavior packs and add-ons. It needs no experimental features. If another pack misbehaves, the fix guide for add-ons is the place to start.

How do I install Survival Overhaul?
Open the .mcpack file with Minecraft Bedrock to import it, then switch it on under Global Resources or in a world's Resource Packs. Before you play, open the pack settings and choose the Health Bar Indicator On or Off subpack. No experimental features are required.
Can I turn off the mob health bars?
Yes. The pack ships two subpacks, Health Bar Indicator On and Health Bar Indicator Off. Pick the Off option in the pack settings for a cleaner screen. The rest of the pack, including the dark UI and food stats, stays active either way.
Does Survival Overhaul work with Vibrant Visuals?
Yes. The pack is compatible with the Simple, Fancy and Vibrant Visuals graphics modes. It also works alongside behavior packs and add-ons, and it needs no experimental toggles in the world settings.
Is Survival Overhaul available for Java?
No. It is a Bedrock resource pack, and Java uses a different pack format that cannot load it.
