Health Bars is a Bedrock health bars addon from ZeroTeam. When a mob takes damage, a pixel-art bar appears above it, updates as its health changes and disappears after a short configurable delay. It ships as one .mcaddon holding a behavior pack and a resource pack, and it needs no dependency packs.
Supported versions
- Minecraft 26.0 to 26.50.
What it adds
- Four visual styles: Golden, Simple, Classic and RPG, with live previews in the settings screen.
- Optional player health bars for PvP and multiplayer worlds, switched off by default so your own bar stays out of the way.
- Optional HP numbers showing current and maximum health.
- On-hit mode, where bars appear after damage and disappear again, or always-visible mode, which keeps tracked bars on screen.
- Settings saved per world, so each world can use its own style.
The bars are cosmetic only. They do not change combat balance, mob health, damage or loot. Damage Numbers is a separate addon that runs alongside it if you also want floating hit values.
How to use it
- 1.Open the .mcaddon file with Bedrock to import it. The general steps are in how to install add-ons on Bedrock.
- 2.In the world settings, activate both the Behavior Pack and the Resource Pack.
- 3.Fight a mob. A bar appears above it as soon as it takes damage.
- 4.Type /health-bars or /hb to open the settings screen. Operator permission is not needed, and changes save automatically.
Questions about Health Bars.
4 questions
How do I install Health Bars on Bedrock?
Open the .mcaddon file with Bedrock so it imports, then edit your world settings and activate both the Behavior Pack and the Resource Pack. Load the world and hit a mob. A bar should appear above it straight away.
How do I open the Health Bars settings?
Type /health-bars or the shorter /hb in chat. The command works for every player without operator permission. The settings screen lets you pick a style, toggle HP numbers and player bars, and choose between on-hit and always-visible bars. Changes save automatically and apply to the current world only.
Does Health Bars show player health in PvP?
Yes, but the option is off by default. Turn on player bars in the settings screen to show health bars above other players in PvP and multiplayer worlds. Leaving it off keeps your own bar from cluttering normal play.
Does Health Bars change combat or mob health?
No. The bars are purely cosmetic and leave combat balance, mob health, damage and loot untouched. They only display how much health a mob has left after it takes damage, so you can read a fight without guessing.
