HyShaders Fantasy is a lightweight shader pack for Minecraft Java that pushes colour and atmosphere while keeping the blocky, pixel look intact. It runs on Iris and OptiFine and is installed on the player's own machine only. Hybred forked it from BSL with the original author's permission, then retuned it for speed, palette and colour grading.

Lite and Ultra modes
The pack comes in two modes. Ultra costs more performance and looks better. Lite is the optimized cut, which Hybred says still looks great while keeping performance high. Modrinth files the pack under low performance impact, with bloom, reflections, shadows and atmosphere tags beside a vanilla-like label.
Installing HyShaders Fantasy
- 1.Install Iris (or OptiFine) for your Minecraft release.
- 2.Get the pack from Modrinth and unzip it.
- 3.Put the files you want into your shaderpacks folder, and create the folder if it does not exist.
- 4.Launch Minecraft and pick the pack under Video Settings > Shader Packs (Iris).
Trade-offs and sibling packs
Ultra trades speed for looks, so weaker machines should start with Lite. Bedrock cannot run Iris or OptiFine, and the pack links no source repository or wiki, so its Modrinth page is the only reference.

How do I install HyShaders Fantasy?
Install Iris or OptiFine, unzip the pack, and place the files in your shaderpacks folder, creating it if needed. Launch Minecraft and select the pack in the shader menu, which is Video Settings > Shader Packs in Iris. Manual installation lets you choose between Lite and Ultra.
What is the difference between Lite and Ultra in HyShaders?
Ultra looks better but costs more performance. Lite is Hybred's heavily optimized cut that still looks good and keeps frame rates high. Modrinth installs Lite by default, so copy the files yourself if you want Ultra.
Does HyShaders Fantasy work with Iris and OptiFine?
Yes. Both loaders have releases listed for the pack, and neither needs an extra dependency. Iris and OptiFine are Java mods, so the pack does not run on Bedrock.
Is HyShaders Fantasy a copy of BSL?
It is a fork of BSL, made with the original author's permission. Hybred publishes it alongside a Vanilla and a Horror variant, each with its own look. The credits also state that the pack may be used in modpacks.
