What Luxora Shaders works with.
| Platform | Java Edition |
|---|---|
| Loaders | Iris, OptiFine |
| Minecraft versions | 1.21.11 |
Luxora Shaders is a warm, cinematic shader pack for Minecraft Java that runs on Iris or OptiFine. It goes for realistic lighting, golden sunsets and clean post-processing instead of an over-processed look. It is applied on the player's own machine only, and Modrinth tags it for low and potato hardware.
Shader loaders and versions
- Iris and OptiFine: Minecraft 1.21.11.
Effects and colour schemes
The identity is a film-like grade. Sunlight is warm and golden, and sky gradients stay natural across the day. Four colour schemes change the mood: Cinematic, Natural, Golden Hour and Moonlit. A custom "Luxora" tonemap handles the highlights.
- Water with reflections, caustics, wave normals and optional foam.
- Screen-space god rays around the sun, plus bloom on lanterns and torches.
- Volumetric clouds with a silver lining, ambient occlusion and waving vegetation.
- Sun and moon size adjustable from 0.5x to 3x.
- Optional depth of field and motion blur.
- Anti-aliasing with TAA, SMAA and optional sharpening, similar to the options covered in anti-aliasing.
Performance and compatibility
Three profiles, Fast, Fancy and Fabulous, let you trade looks for frame rate. Modrinth places the pack in its potato and low categories, which is a positioning label and not a hardware promise. The pack works with Distant Horizons. Bedrock cannot run it.

Questions about Luxora Shaders.
4 questions
How do I install Luxora Shaders?
Install Iris or OptiFine for 1.21.11, then place the Luxora Shaders .zip in your shaderpacks folder. Open Video Settings, choose Shader Packs, and select Luxora Shaders. With Iris, the loader also needs Fabric or NeoForge. The pack has no other required dependencies.
Does Luxora Shaders work with Iris and OptiFine?
Yes. Both loaders have a release of the pack for 1.21.11, and neither release lists any extra requirements. Pick whichever loader you already use. Bedrock cannot run either loader, so the pack is Java only.
Does Luxora Shaders work with Distant Horizons?
Yes. The pack lists Distant Horizons support among its features, so it is built to work with the DH mod. Luxora Shaders itself runs on Iris and OptiFine for 1.21.11, and neither release lists any extra requirements. Both Iris and OptiFine are Java Edition mods, so Bedrock players cannot use the pack.
Is Luxora Shaders good for low-end PCs?
Modrinth tags it as potato and low, and the pack has Fast, Fancy and Fabulous profiles. That tag is a positioning label, not a hardware promise. Optional effects such as depth of field and motion blur can be left off. Actual speed depends on your hardware.
