Pegasus Shaders is a shader pack for Java that runs on Iris and covers a wide stylistic range, from vanilla-like and cartoon to realistic and fantasy looks. timetravelbeard aims to combine the experimental features of the heavy packs Icarus and CTMPOMFIX with the speed of the lightweight Simply Upscaled. It is still early in development.

How do I install Pegasus Shaders?
Install Iris, then place the Pegasus .zip file in the shaderpacks folder. Launch the game, open Video Settings, choose Shader Packs and select Pegasus. The pack is for Java only, because Iris cannot run on Bedrock.
Does Pegasus Shaders work with Distant Horizons?
Yes. Distant Horizons support is listed among the pack's notable features. It sits in the feature list alongside physics mod support, PBR and optional texture upscaling. The pack runs on Iris for Java, so install Iris first, then select Pegasus under Shader Packs in Video Settings.
Why does Pegasus run slower in some releases?
Releases from 0.3.3 onward, called Vx, voxelize the world to produce colored lighting, which lowers the frame rate. Release 0.3.2 skips that step and runs faster, but it has no colored lighting.
