Just Colored Lighting is a shader pack for Iris on Java, made by timetravelbeard. It adds colored lighting and dynamic lights to a pipeline tuned for potato computers, and it also works with Distant Horizons and Voxy.

What it changes
The additions are about light. Block lights take on their own color, moving light sources glow, and shadows are optional. Texture upscaling is optional too, and PBR textures are well supported, even from block lights. The optional Global Illumination has no fps impact.
- Modded blocks that emit light should work automatically.
- PBR textures can optionally turn any block into a colored light source.
- Concrete can optionally become colored light, for neon builds.
Installing the pack
Shader packs need a loader on Java, and this one lists Iris, which runs on Fabric or NeoForge. Bedrock cannot run Iris. The steps below are the short form, and the shader install guide covers the details.

Trade-offs and testing
This is a narrow, speed-first pack rather than a full visual overhaul, and it is Java only. The project links no source code.
