BioScape V.3 is a Minecraft Bedrock addon by Halo333XYT that adds 40 new biomes to the overworld and redesigns many existing ones. It is a Bedrock-only addon, so Java players need a different format.

Supported versions

  • Minecraft 1.21.90 to 26.50.

What it adds

The addon was inspired by Terralith, but it is not a port of it. Credits go to el Cordero, HALO333X and kosmos.

How to install BioScape V.3

  1. 1.Get the BioScape V.3.mcaddon file from the CurseForge page linked on this page.
  2. 2.Open the file with Minecraft Bedrock. On Windows a double-click imports it, and on phones and tablets you choose to open it with Minecraft.
  3. 3.Create a new world or edit an existing one, then switch on the addon under Behavior Packs and Resource Packs in the world settings.
  4. 4.Turn on the Custom Biomes experiment before you load the world.

If the pack does not appear after import, the install guide and the troubleshooting guide cover the usual causes.

Experimental requirement

The trade-off is the experiment itself. The addon asks for no other dependency packs, but the new biomes need an experimental toggle. The pack makes no claims about Realms or dedicated servers, so test on a throwaway world first.
