BuildCraft is a Bedrock addon for players who want a finished house without placing every block. It adds an Architecture Table that exchanges resources from your inventory for a house generator, which then places a pre-designed home in your survival world. It runs on Bedrock Edition only.
Supported versions
- Minecraft 1.21.100 to 26.50.
What it adds
The Architecture Table is the whole addon. Interact with it and a panel lists tags. Pick one and a menu shows every house carrying that tag. Select a house and you see its price as a list of required items. If anything is missing, a chat message names what you lack. If you have everything, you receive the house generator.
The catalogue runs from the Basic Wooden House and Wooden Cabin to the Luxury Pool House, Modern Mansion, Cherry Pale House and a Crop Farm. Tiered Crops and Tree House 1 are also on the list. Every house also appears in the creative menu, and a starter house is given to you on first spawn. It cannot be bought at the table.
Placing a house
- 1.Interact with the Architecture Table to open its panel.
- 2.Choose a tag, pick a house and gather the items on its price list.
- 3.Take the house generator, then left click on Windows or press and hold on mobile to use it.
- 4.Pick a rotation. Particles outline the footprint so you can check size and position before it builds.
Installation
The newest file is a .mcpack. Open it with Minecraft and it imports on its own, with a double-click on Windows or Open With on phones and tablets. Then switch the pack on in your world's settings under the pack lists. The creator's page names no experimental toggles, so none are documented as required. If the pack misbehaves, the add-on troubleshooting guide covers the usual causes.
The trade-off is freedom. Houses are fixed designs with fixed prices, so this suits players who want speed over custom builds.
