Craftmon Legacy is a Pokémon-style Bedrock addon from FourWorldsStudios that turns survival worlds into a catch, train and evolve adventure. It arrives as a single .mcaddon file and does not need experimental features. It works on Bedrock only, and Java cannot load it.
Supported versions
- Minecraft 1.21.123 to 1.21.130.
Catching with Apricorns
You open with a Letter from Professor Oak and pick Bulbasaur, Charmander or Squirtle. After that, wild Pokémon spawn across the world at different times. Apricorn trees grow in most biomes, and their fruit is the raw material for Poké-Balls. A normal Crafting Table cannot make them, so you build a Poké-Crafter first. Apricorn Seeds can be crafted and planted, and Growth, Gooey or Damp Mulch makes the trees grow faster.
Every species has its own catch rate. The Great Ball doubles it, the Ultra Ball quadruples it and the Master Ball never fails. The Fast Ball and Heavy Ball pay off against fast or heavy targets.
Stars, battles and evolution
There is no level system. Each catch gets a random star rating from 0 to 4, modelled on Pokémon GO, and every star adds 10% to its HP. A 4 star Pokémon carries 50% more HP than a 0 star one. To fight, throw a Poké-Ball near a target and the two Pokémon lock on. Combat is turn based, and you can switch a partner between Battle and Follow modes. A Max Revive brings a fainted partner back to full health.
Defeated wild Pokémon drop a species item, such as Eevee Fur. A Material Converter turns those drops into Pokémon Candy. Evolving costs the right amount of Candy plus 2000 Stardust, which you earn by fainting or catching Pokémon and can check on your Trainer Card.
- Villages hold a Poké-Mart Clerk who sells useful items.
- A Poké Maniac in villages buys the Dropped Items you find as sparkles around the world.
- The addon is marked achievement compatible and does not use player.json.
Installation
Open the .mcaddon file with Minecraft to import it. The install guide covers phones and Windows, and the troubleshooting guide helps if the addon refuses to load.

Questions about Craftmon Legacy.
4 questions
How do I install Craftmon Legacy on Bedrock?
Download the .mcaddon file from CurseForge and open it with Minecraft, which imports the addon automatically. Then enable it for the world where you want to play. The addon is Bedrock only, so Java cannot load it.
Does Craftmon Legacy need experimental toggles?
No. The creator states that the addon does not require experimental features, so you can leave the Experiments switches off. You only need to enable the addon on the world where you want to play.
Does Craftmon Legacy have Pokémon levels?
No. It uses a star rating from 0 to 4 instead. Each star raises a Pokémon's HP by 10%, so a 4 star catch has 50% more HP than a 0 star one. Evolution depends on Pokémon Candy and 2000 Stardust rather than levels.
How do you craft Poké-Balls in Craftmon Legacy?
Harvest Apricorns from trees found in most biomes, then craft a Poké-Crafter, because a normal Crafting Table cannot make Poké-Balls. The Poké-Crafter produces every ball type, from the standard Poké-Ball up to the Master Ball.
