Dinosaurs' Time is a Jurassic Park inspired Bedrock addon from LostTimesCompany. It adds more than 50 dinosaurs, from small species up to apex predators such as the Tyrannosaurus rex. This dinosaurs time addon is built around genetic creation, taming and theme park building, and it supports both Survival and Creative worlds.

Supported versions

  • Minecraft 1.21.132.

What it adds

The core is a structured dinosaur creation system. In Survival, extinct species are unlocked through in-world progression rather than handed out. Each creature has its own behaviors, mechanics and interactions, and those differences change how you play around them.

  • Over 50 creatures, each with a distinct role and set of attributes.
  • Taming and mounts.
  • Survival management of enclosures, habitats and containment systems, with resources to balance so large predators stay under control.
  • Creative mode with free access to every creature and resource, aimed at custom parks, controlled environments and showcase maps.

Experiments and device limits

That memory cost is the main trade-off. The addon is Bedrock only, so Java Edition cannot load it.

Installation

  1. 1.Download the file from the CurseForge page and open it with Minecraft, so it imports automatically.
  2. 2.Create a world or edit an existing one, then switch on the addon's behavior and resource packs in the world settings.
  3. 3.Turn on the experiments the addon requires, then load the world.

New to packs? The guide on how to install add-ons on Bedrock covers each step. This is a different project from Dinosaur Add-On.

Questions about Dinosaurs' Time.

4 questions

How do I install Dinosaurs' Time on Bedrock?

Download the file from CurseForge and open it with Minecraft so it imports. Then create or edit a world, activate the addon's behavior and resource packs in the world settings, and enable the experiments it requires. Without those experiments, the addon does not work correctly.

Does Dinosaurs' Time need experimental toggles?

Yes. The addon works correctly only if its required experiments are enabled in the world settings. Turn them on before loading the world, otherwise creatures and mechanics may not behave as intended.

Which Bedrock release does Dinosaurs' Time support?

The newest release targets Bedrock 1.21.132. It is a Bedrock Edition addon only, so it will not load in Java Edition. Check that your Minecraft matches that release before importing the files.

Why does Dinosaurs' Time lag or crash on my device?

Devices that do not have enough memory usually cannot handle Dinosaurs' Time, which includes more than 50 creatures. The addon also works correctly only when its required experiments are enabled, so check those in the world settings before loading the world.
