Gravestone & Death Coordinates is a gravestone addon for Bedrock Edition from euforia_con_r. When you die, a grave appears at your location and you receive the coordinates, so recovering your items is a short walk instead of a search. Files ship as `.mcaddon`, and Java Edition cannot load them.
Supported versions
- Minecraft 1.21 to 26.50.
What it adds
- A grave created automatically at the spot where you die.
- The coordinates of your death, so you can easily return and recover your items.
- A redrawn gravestone texture, introduced in v1.0.6.
- A Gravestone Key in one variant, which teleports you to your last death location.
The addon ships in two variants. One includes the Gravestone Key and one leaves it out. The newest release, v1.2.2, is the one without the key. The creator plans to make this a setting you can change inside the world, but for now you pick the variant by choosing the file.
Experimental requirements
Installation
- 1.Get the `.mcaddon` file from the CurseForge page and open it with Bedrock so it imports.
- 2.Create or edit a world, then switch on the pack under Behavior Packs and Resource Packs in its settings.
- 3.Enable Beta APIs under Experiments.
- 4.Load the world. Dying now leaves a grave and reports your coordinates.
If the import fails or the pack stays inactive, the add-on install guide covers the steps, and fixing add-ons that do not work covers the common faults.
Trade-offs
The page does not state how the addon behaves on Realms or dedicated servers, so test it in a throwaway world first.
Questions about Gravestone & Death Coordinates.
4 questions
How do I install the Gravestone & Death Coordinates addon on Bedrock?
Open the `.mcaddon` file with Bedrock so it imports, then activate the behavior and resource packs in your world's settings. Turn on Beta APIs under Experiments before loading the world. On Windows you can also place the pack folders in the com.mojang behavior_packs and resource_packs folders.
Does the Gravestone addon need experimental toggles?
Yes. The creator says to activate Beta APIs from the experimental options. If the grave never appears after you die, check that toggle first, then confirm both packs are switched on for that world.
What is the Gravestone Key?
It is an item in one of the two variants that teleports you to your last death location. The other variant leaves it out, and the newest release, v1.2.2, is the one without the key. The creator plans to make this a setting you can change in the world later.
Who makes the Gravestone & Death Coordinates addon?
It is made by euforia_con_r and published on CurseForge, where it lists more than 158,000 downloads and a first publication in July 2024. It is a Bedrock Edition addon only, so Java Edition cannot load it. Match the name and creator on the CurseForge page before importing a file.
