Immortal Dogs is an immortal dogs addon for Bedrock from INTOR. It makes tamed dogs immune to every damage source except the /kill command. Bedrock only, played on the Bedrock side of the fence: Java cannot load it.
Supported versions
- Minecraft 26.10 to 26.40.
What it adds
The addon does one job and does it without setup. Immunity is applied the moment you tame a dog. Dogs you tamed earlier are covered too, so you can add the pack to an existing world and your current companions are protected.
- Immunity to all damage sources on tamed dogs, with /kill as the single exception.
- Applies right after taming, and also to dogs already tamed.
- Described as achievements friendly, so the pack does not stand in the way of progress tracking.
- No dependency packs and no experimental toggles listed for the newest release.
How to install Immortal Dogs
- 1.Get the file from the CurseForge page linked on this site and open it with Bedrock so it imports.
- 2.Create a world or edit an existing one, then open its settings.
- 3.Switch the pack on under Behavior Packs (and Resource Packs if the file includes one).
- 4.Load the world. Already tamed dogs are covered; new ones are protected as soon as you tame them.
If the import fails or the pack does not seem active, the add-on install guide walks through the steps in more detail.
Who it suits
Survival players who keep losing a tamed wolf to a fall, a creeper or a stray arrow will get the most from it.
Questions about Immortal Dogs.
3 questions
Does Immortal Dogs work on dogs I already tamed?
Yes. The addon grants immunity right after you tame a new dog, and it also covers dogs that were tamed before you switched the pack on. You can add it to an existing world without retaming anything.
Can an immortal dog still be killed?
Only with the /kill command. Immortal Dogs makes tamed dogs immune to all damage sources, and /kill is the one exception the addon names. The immunity is applied right after taming, and it also covers dogs you tamed before installing the pack. Nothing else is listed as an exception.
How do I get an immortal dog without commands?
Install Immortal Dogs, enable it for your world, and tame a dog as normal. Immunity is applied automatically after taming, so no manual commands are needed. The addon also covers dogs you tamed earlier, which makes the pack the only step beyond normal taming. Only the /kill command can still remove one.
