Nico's More Mineshaft is a more mineshaft addon for Bedrock Edition by NicoTheKid. It adds new mineshaft structures that generate naturally, and each one differs in design, length and loot. Recent releases ship as a behavior pack in .mcpack form and need no other dependency pack.

What it adds
- Oak wood mineshafts, found underground in plains, forests, jungles, swamps, deserts, savannas, badlands and similar biomes.
- Spruce wood mineshafts, found underground in snowy plains, taiga, windswept hills and the frozen peaks and slopes.
- Birch wood mineshafts, found on the surface in birch forests, cherry groves and meadows.
- Ancient mineshafts, found underground in the deepslate layer.
Inside them lives the Skeleton Miner, a hostile skeleton that spawns only in these custom mineshafts. It carries a random pickaxe and helmet, and it can drop ores, gems and bones. Minecart Trophy blocks are part of the content too. Mineshaft rooms are built with jigsaw structures, with more pathways and block variety than the early releases. Suspicious sand, suspicious gravel and decorated pots can hold varied items.
In Creative Mode, /locate finds them by identifier, such as ntk:oak_wood_mineshaft or ntk:ancient_wood_mineshaft. A pack setting also lets you pick lower, normal or higher structure spawn rates.

How do I install Nico's More Mineshaft on Bedrock?
Open the .mcpack or .mcaddon file with Minecraft Bedrock so it imports, then enable the behavior pack in your world's settings. Java Edition cannot load add-ons, so this applies to Bedrock only.
Why did Nico's More Mineshaft change its pack UUID in release 1.8?
Release 1.8 changed the pack UUID to fix importing issues on Realms. The change has a cost, because the add-on can no longer update over older copies. Release 1.8 also reworked all mineshaft rooms and moved generation to jigsaw structures, so it is a larger change than a simple fix.
How do I find the mineshafts with a command?
In Creative Mode, use /locate with an identifier name. The four are ntk:ancient_wood_mineshaft, ntk:birch_wood_mineshaft, ntk:oak_wood_mineshaft and ntk:spruce_wood_mineshaft.
Can I change how often the mineshafts generate?
Yes. Since release 1.8.2 the pack includes structure generation subpack settings for normal, lower and higher spawn rates.
