Not Enough TNT

A Bedrock addon that adds new kinds of TNT, from a prank block to ones that turn nearby blocks into wool or sculk. Recipes sit in the recipe book, and Beta APIs must be switched on.

Not Enough TNT is a Bedrock addon from euforia_con_r that fills the gap its name points at: more TNT, with more personality. It ships as a single .mcaddon file for Bedrock Edition only, so Java players cannot load it. Most of the new blocks are built around one idea each, which keeps the pack easy to understand.

Supported versions

  • Minecraft 1.21.60 to 26.50.

What it adds

The set mixes pranks, terrain changers and plain escalation. Every recipe is in the recipe book, so there is no hunting for crafting charts.

  • Fake TNT, a prank block to use on a friend.
  • Dirt TNT, which leaves dirt around it, and Wool TNT, which turns nearby blocks into wool.
  • Sculk TNT, which turns surrounding blocks into sculk.
  • Aquatic TNT, which affects blocks underwater.
  • TNT Barrel, which you push to throw it away.
  • Antigravity TNT, Inferno TNT and a TNT firework.

How to install Not Enough TNT

Then switch the packs on in your world's settings under Behavior Packs and Resource Packs. If the import fails or the blocks never appear, the guide on installing add-ons on Bedrock covers the steps, and fixing add-ons that do not work covers the usual causes.

What to expect

The newest build requires no other packs. The page does not state how it behaves on Realms or dedicated servers, so test it in a throwaway world first. More updates are promised.

How do I install Not Enough TNT on Bedrock?

Open the .mcaddon file with Minecraft Bedrock and it imports into the game. Create or edit a world, then switch the add-on on in that world's settings. Also activate Beta APIs from the experimental options, as the creator's note asks. Recipes for the new TNT are in the recipe book.

Does Not Enough TNT need experimental toggles?

Yes. The creator's note tells players to activate Beta APIs from the experimental options in the world settings. Experiments are set per world, so repeat the step for every world where you want the new TNT blocks. The same note also says a new update is coming soon.

Where are the crafting recipes for the new TNT?

All recipes for the new TNT blocks are in the in-game recipe book, so you can look them up while playing. That covers variants such as Dirt TNT, Sculk TNT, Aquatic TNT, the multiplied TNT blocks and the TNT firework.
