Phase Blocks is a Bedrock addon from FourWorldsStudios that hides your base behind walls only you can walk through. This phase blocks addon converts ordinary blocks into passable ones that look exactly like the vanilla originals, so a wall gives nothing away.

Supported versions

  • Minecraft 1.21.130.

What it adds

Everything runs through one crafted item, the Phase Table. Place any block on it and its mass is reduced, which lets you phase through that block. The pitch is simple: any block can become a private entrance, and you can tuck a second hidden room inside your secret base for extra safety.

  • Converted blocks look identical to the vanilla block they came from.
  • Works with texture packs.
  • Needs no experimental features.
  • Does not use player.json.
  • Achievement compatible.

How to install Phase Blocks

The latest file is a single .mcaddon, so import is quick. If you have never loaded one, the install guide for Bedrock add-ons covers each platform.

  1. 1.Open the .mcaddon file with Bedrock so it imports.
  2. 2.Create or edit a world and switch on the addon's packs under Behavior Packs and Resource Packs.
  3. 3.Craft a Phase Table, place a block on it, and walk into the converted block.

Questions about Phase Blocks.

4 questions

How do I install Phase Blocks on Bedrock?

Open the .mcaddon file with Minecraft so it imports, then create or edit a world and activate the addon's packs under Behavior Packs and Resource Packs. On Windows you double-click the file. On phones and tablets you choose to open it with Minecraft.

Does Phase Blocks need experimental toggles?

No. The creator states that the addon does not require experimental features, so you can leave the Experiments switches in your world settings off. The creator also notes that the addon does not use player.json.

How do I make a block passable with Phase Blocks?

Craft a Phase Table, then place the block you want to convert on it. The table reduces the block's mass, and you can then phase through it. The converted block looks exactly like the vanilla block, so the hidden entrance stays invisible.

Does Phase Blocks work with texture packs?

Yes. The creator lists texture pack support, so converted blocks keep the look of whatever pack you use and still blend into your walls. The addon is also marked achievement compatible, so earning achievements stays possible with it enabled.
