How to install Simple Health Indicator
The latest file is a .mcaddon, so opening it with Bedrock imports the pack. Then switch it on per world under Behavior Packs and Resource Packs in the world settings. If the import fails or the health display never shows, the guide on fixing add-ons that do not work covers the usual causes. First-timers can follow the Bedrock add-on install guide.
- 1.Open the .mcaddon file with Bedrock so it imports.
- 2.Create a world or edit an existing one.
- 3.Activate the addon's packs in the world settings.
- 4.Turn on the experimental options in the same screen.
- 5.Load the world and walk up to a mob.
The trade-off is transparency. The project links no source code and lists no licence, so you cannot inspect how it works. The newest file requires no other packs.

How do I install Simple Health Indicator on Bedrock?
Open the .mcaddon file with Bedrock so it imports, then edit your world and activate the addon under Behavior Packs and Resource Packs. Turn on the experimental options in the same settings screen, and load the world. Walk close to a mob to see its health.
Does Simple Health Indicator need experimental toggles?
Yes. Players are told to activate the experimental options, so enable them in the world settings before playing. The individual toggles are not named, which means the safest approach is to turn on the experiments section when setting up the world.
Which Bedrock versions does Simple Health Indicator support?
It supports Minecraft 1.21.40 to 26.50. The newest file is Health Indicator v1.1.9, published on 2026-09-21, and it requires no other packs. Check that your world runs a release inside that range, then import the .mcaddon and activate the packs in the world settings as with any add-on.
Can I rename mobs with Simple Health Indicator?
Yes. The addon page states that entities can be renamed. It also lists a new custom command, /eu:config health_indicator, under its player support notes. The page does not describe what the command does, so check the project page for details before relying on it.
