The Forgotten Legends: Age of Renewal is a dark fantasy addon for Bedrock from KaelusKrieg. It fills your world with undead, orcs, giant spiders, wyverns and fire drakes, plus new structures, weapons and a small necromancy magic system. It works on Bedrock only, and Java cannot load it.
Supported versions
- Minecraft 26.0 to 26.40.
What it adds
- Undead (Nekros), from the basic Ochi Nekros up to the Nekros Colossus. Their dungeons reward brass equipment and, with luck, the Necromancer armor set.
- Orcs in their own villages, where a Warlords Effigy in the Ringleader's hall summons a horde. Kill enough and the Warlord arrives on the final wave, dropping a sword or helmet with special abilities.
- Wargs, giant wolves, some of which can be tamed with rotten flesh.
- Great Spiders in roofed forests, spruce forests and underground. Their boss, the Spider Matriarch, drops spider sacks that summon spiderlings to fight for you.
- Human bandits inside structures, and Mercenaries you can recruit with gold ingots.
Mounts, magic and gear
Wyverns are the fastest way to travel. They never appear alone, and a slain one may drop an egg that hatches after 10 minutes. Feed the baby salmon or another fish, let it grow, and it becomes a mount. Fire drakes can be tamed too: kill one, collect its meat, then feed the same meat to another while surviving its attacks. Add a saddle to ride it.
Necromancy is deliberately simple. Interacting with the necromancer scythe summons bone jaws around you. Hold one of the necromancy spell books while sneaking and the undead that spawn depend on the book. Silver ore crafts a full armor and tool set. Each silver tool deals 4 extra damage to undead and ignores their armor, and the armor gives extra protection against undead attacks.
Installation
The addon ships as a single .mcaddon file. Open it with Minecraft to import it, then switch on its behavior and resource packs in the world settings. The install guide covers each step. The page names no required dependencies and no experimental toggles.
Questions about The Forgotten Legends: Age of Renewal.
4 questions
How do I install The Forgotten Legends: Age of Renewal on Bedrock?
Get the TFL_AoR_update.mcaddon file from CurseForge and open it with Minecraft. On Windows, double-click it. On phones and tablets, choose to open it with Minecraft. Then create or edit a world and enable the addon's behavior pack and resource pack in the world's settings.
Which Bedrock versions does Age of Renewal support?
The newest file covers Minecraft Bedrock 26.0 to 26.40, and it requires no other packs. It is a Bedrock-only addon, so Java Edition cannot load it. If you run into trouble, the add-ons troubleshooting guide on this site lists common fixes.
How do I tame a wyvern in Age of Renewal?
Wyverns usually come in groups. Killing one may drop an egg. Place the egg and wait 10 minutes for a baby wyvern to appear, then feed it salmon or another fish to tame it. Let it grow up and it can be ridden as the fastest mount.
Can you tame a fire drake in this addon?
Yes. Kill a fire drake first and collect its meat. Then survive another drake's attacks while feeding it the same meat. Once tamed, equip a saddle to ride it. Using a stick on it triggers its fire breath, which is very destructive.
