Better Adventures++ is a Java modpack for Fabric (an older Quilt line also exists but has stopped) that expands Flowstate's Better Adventures+ with extra quality-of-life mods, content and structures. It is needed on both the client and the host when you play multiplayer.
Loaders and versions
- Fabric: Minecraft 1.20.1 to 1.21.11.
- Quilt: Minecraft 1.19.2 to 1.20.1, builds stopped after December 2023.
What FluffyPuppyKasey changed
The base is Flowstate's pack of roughly 100 mods for ambience, visual polish and everyday conveniences. FluffyPuppyKasey adds a small set of mods chosen to match that tone. Some older entries have since been dropped from newer releases.
Distant terrain and shaders
- Problems go to Cortex's server.
- Releases 1.2.0 and 1.2.1 use beta builds of Distant Horizons and Iris. Crashes are expected, and bugs belong with those mods' developers, not the pack author.
- For shaders, the pack's author points to Rethinking Voxels. Complementary Renewed suits weaker hardware, and Steadfast is the lighter fallback.
- For resource packs, the author recommends Stay True and xali's Enhanced Vanilla.
How to install Better Adventures++
Import the pack through the Modrinth App or Prism Launcher, which fetch the mods and the right loader for you. The author uses Prism Launcher, and support on other launchers is not guaranteed. Our guides cover installing a modpack from Modrinth and setting up Fabric.
The trade-off is stability. Voxy is early software, releases 1.2.0 and 1.2.1 used beta builds of Distant Horizons and Iris, and the pack gives no RAM figure.

How do I install Better Adventures++?

Is Better Adventures++ the same as Better Adventures+?
No. Better Adventures++ is a modified take on Flowstate's Better Adventures+. It keeps that base and adds extra quality-of-life mods, content and structures chosen by FluffyPuppyKasey. Credit for the original belongs to Flowstate.
Can I play Better Adventures++ with friends?
Yes. The pack is required on both the player's side and the host's side, so everyone needs the same mods installed. Flowstate's original pack was tested on a modded Fabric setup for multiplayer.
Why does Better Adventures++ crash with Distant Horizons?
Releases 1.2.0 and 1.2.1 use beta builds of Distant Horizons and Iris, and crashes are expected. Releases 1.2.2 and newer switched to Voxy, which is also early and can behave strangely.
