Crazy Craft Updated is a Forge modpack for Java that rebuilds the Crazy Craft modpack experience on 1.16.5. It is built around Chaos Awakens, the Orespawn remake, and stacks 250+ mods into an adventure and exploration pack with quests, magic and tech. TrueRealCursed_Warrior makes it, and it is not an official port of the original.
Loaders and versions
- Forge: Minecraft 1.16.5.
What's included
The pack leans on sheer volume. Its own feature list claims:
- 100+ new biomes across the Overworld, the Nether, the End and other dimensions
- 500+ new creatures from mods that give each one a purpose
- 300+ new structures, including dungeons and new villages
- 5+ new dimensions, among them all the Ant dimensions
- Many mods configured by the creator to keep the pack fun
The aim is long-haul play. This is a pack for hundreds of hours of wandering, fighting and building, not a short progression ladder.
How to install Crazy Craft Updated
The pack is distributed through CurseForge. If you have never imported one, the guide on installing a modpack from CurseForge or Modrinth covers the launcher side, and setting up Forge explains the loader.
- 1.Open the CurseForge page and add the pack to your launcher.
- 2.Let the launcher fetch the listed mods for 1.16.5 on Forge.
- 3.Launch the profile and create a new world.

Questions about Crazy Craft Updated.
3 questions
Is Crazy Craft Updated an official port of Crazy Craft?
No. The creator states plainly that this is not an official port. TrueRealCursed_Warrior built it as a revival of the Crazy Craft experience for 1.16.5, using Chaos Awakens (the Orespawn remake) as its core and many other mods around it.
Which Minecraft release does Crazy Craft Updated run on?
It runs on Minecraft 1.16.5 with Forge. The pack is distributed through CurseForge and is Java only, so Bedrock players cannot use it. The latest release is 0.13.3, and the pack remains in its 0.x beta stage.
What can I do if Crazy Craft Updated runs poorly on my PC?
The creator offers a Lite version of the pack for players who cannot run the full one because of performance. The full pack carries 250+ mods, so a lighter variant is the sensible first step on weaker hardware.
