Dungeons, Dragons and Space Shuttles is a hardcore adventure and expert quest modpack for Java, made by Freebi85 for 1.12.2. It wraps more than 300 mods around oversized crafting tables, 1750+ quests and over 20 dimensions. Tech and magic are tuned against each other, so neither path alone carries you to the end.

What's included
Almost every recipe and configuration has been rewritten. Machines need items from several mods and are crafted in 5x5, 7x7 and 9x9 workbenches, so expect long resource chains before anything powerful works.
- Magic: Botania mana, Blood Magic with Blood Arsenal, Astral Sorcery and EvilCraft.
- Tech and storage: Galacticraft, Extra Planets, Refined Storage and Applied Energistics 2.
- Exploration: Twilight Forest, Roguelike Dungeons, Doomlike Dungeons, Stargates, airships and jetpacks.
- Creatures: Infernal Mobs and Rough Mobs for opposition, plus dragons, cyclopes and hippogryphs to tame, fly or defeat.
- Food and farming: Pam's Harvestcraft, Hunger Overhaul, Forestry bees, Mystical Agriculture and Rustic brewing.
- Building: Chisel and Bits, Little Tiles, Architecture Craft, Bibliocraft and Mr. Crayfish's Furnitures.
Progression and pacing
The 1750+ quests are custom made for the pack and available in English and Russian. Most pay out rewards that help with later quests, and together they guide you toward the end objective. At a certain point you must follow both the magic and the tech paths. Dungeon chests use reworked loot tables, so exploring pays, and a plushie challenge asks you to collect every lost plushie.

Which Java release does Dungeons, Dragons and Space Shuttles run on?
It targets 1.12.2 only. All three published releases are for 1.12.2, and the pack lists no other targets, so it does not cover newer Java releases. If you are unsure how to import a pack for an older release, the install guide linked on this page covers the general steps.
Is there a sequel to Dungeons, Dragons and Space Shuttles?
Yes. Freebi85 links a newer pack, DDSS 2, as the follow-up. It is a separate project from this one. This page covers only the original 1.12.2 pack.
