MC Eternal is a hybrid Forge modpack, the Minecraft Eternal modpack that blends questing, RPG-style adventure, magic and tech in one kitchen-sink bundle. An optional quest book rewards whatever you feel like doing, and recipes stay basic. It works solo or with friends on a hosted world, and it is distributed through CurseForge.

- Over 750 optional quests, plus challenge chapters such as collecting 1 million dirt or surviving 30 hours without dying.
- Hundreds of Tinkers' Construct materials, with tech running from nuclear reactors and jetpacks to lasers and modular rockets.
- MineColonies towns with workers, citizens and builders.
- A custom economy: pick a profession, sell to the Player Shop, then spend currency in a GUI shop.
- Legendary Artifacts, custom dungeons and bosses, and a bounty system that sends you hunting rare creatures.
- A custom Moon dimension with 3 bosses and over 35 structures, among 9+ dimensions in total.
Progression and pacing
Magic, science and combat can be mixed freely, so you can play as a mage, a mad scientist, a farmer or all three. Many boss mods are tweaked heavily. Hardcore Darkness makes unlit caves and bases pitch black and raises monster spawns in the dark. It can be disabled. Osmium spawns only in The Beneath, in larger veins than usual, so bring torches. Patches arrive frequently, with one big update a month normally.
Installation
Get the pack from CurseForge and import it with a launcher that reads CurseForge zips, such as the FTB App, GDLauncher or Prism Launcher. The guide to installing a modpack from CurseForge walks through the steps. The Development branch on GitHub holds an unreleased test pack for people who want to report bugs. It is still under development and contains bugs, so skip it for a normal world.

How much RAM does MC Eternal need?
The pack asks for 8 GB or more, between 8192 and 10240 MB. The Eternal Lite variant is supported on 8 GB machines. If you host a server on your own machine, allocate at least 5.5 GB and add the Xmx and Xms flags to the .bat file manually.
Which Minecraft version does MC Eternal support?
