The Truebound modpack is a vanilla-plus survival pack for Minecraft Java on Fabric. It keeps the original rhythm of the game and adds depth through visual, audio and mechanical refinements. Both client and server need it, so it suits solo worlds and shared ones.

What it changes
Truebound does not swap survival for something else. The pack is built for long-running worlds, where farming, building and progression get more detail without forced progression or broken mechanics.
- Visuals and animation, with Iris Shaders, Continuity, Entity Model Features, Falling Leaves and Wavey Capes.
- Sound and atmosphere, from AmbientSounds, Sound Physics Remastered, Presence Footsteps and Drip Sounds.
- Interface polish, including AppleSkin, BetterF3, Better F1 Reborn and Smooth Gui.
- Flashback for recording and editing cinematic footage inside a world.
Installation
Open the pack in the Modrinth App, or in Prism Launcher or another launcher that reads .mrpack files. The launcher fetches the listed mods and the Fabric loader. If you are new to this, the guide on installing a modpack from Modrinth covers the steps.
Distant terrain with Voxy
Voxy renders extreme distances, but only for terrain that already exists. Run /chunky radius followed by a chunk count, then /chunky start, and wait for the progress bar to finish. Chunky does the pre-loading. Afterwards, confirm Voxy is enabled in the settings and set its render distance, ideally to the maximum.
Two known quirks have fixes. Particle Rain mist can be switched off in its settings under the Mods menu. A transparent rectangle over boats goes away when you disable boat_patch.jeme in the resource settings under Models.

Is Truebound a Fabric modpack?
Yes. Truebound runs on Fabric only, and the launcher installs the loader for you when you import the pack. There is no Forge or NeoForge release, so the Fabric mods inside it are what shape the experience.
Does Truebound work on multiplayer?
Truebound is needed on both the client and the server, so everyone joining a shared world should run the same pack. It also works for solo play in a single world.
Why does Voxy show no distant terrain in Truebound?
Voxy only draws terrain that has already been generated. Use Chunky to pre-load the area with /chunky radius and /chunky start, wait for the progress bar to finish, then check that Voxy is enabled and its render distance is set high.
How do I fix the transparent rectangle over boats?
Open the resource pack menu, press the creeper button for resource settings, go to Models, then All Models. Find boat_patch.jeme and disable it. The rectangle should disappear.
