CobbleCuisine is a food add-on for Cobblemon that adds curries, sandwiches, salads, cakes, shakes and more. It runs on Fabric and must be installed on both client and server.

Loaders and versions

What the foods do

  • Curries and sandwiches shift spawns toward a chosen Pokémon type or Tera Type. Cakes target egg groups, and salads influence natures.
  • Roasted berries (cooked on a campfire) heal and give effects, but can backfire. Roasting the 18 type-resist berries or the Enigma berry unlocks Tera Type spawns.
  • Poke Puffs, Malasadas and Poke Beans raise Pokémon friendship. Malasada gains depend on nature, and sneaking lets you eat them yourself for unique effects.
  • Berry Shakes raise EVs by an amount tied to the berries used. Drinks include Fruit Punch, Protein Smoothie and four Cafe ReMix drinks.
  • General effects cover shiny chance, catch rate, party experience, IVs and spawn size.

Effects stack, so you can combine foods to hunt a specific Pokémon. Spawn effects only help when you stand in a fitting biome, so an Ice-type meal does nothing in a fiery one. Effect durations and strength can be changed through MidnightLib.

Installation

  1. 1.Install Fabric for 1.21.1 by following the Fabric install guide.
  2. 2.Add Cobblemon and every other dependency listed above for the file you pick, plus CobbleCuisine, to the mods folder on both the client and the server.
  3. 3.Start the Fabric profile. The general steps are in the mod install guide.

NeoForge players can try Sinytra Connector, which the mod's page names for that route, though the mod itself targets Fabric.

Questions about CobbleCuisine.

4 questions

What is CobbleCuisine?

CobbleCuisine is an add-on for Cobblemon that adds cookable foods and drinks. Curries, sandwiches, salads, cakes and shakes grant effects such as type-specific spawns, higher shiny odds, better catch rates, extra experience, friendship gains and EV boosts.

Does CobbleCuisine work on multiplayer servers?

Yes, but it has to be installed on both sides. Players and the server both need the mod, along with Cobblemon and the other libraries your chosen file requires. The mod is still in beta, so back up your worlds before adding it to a multiplayer setup.

Which Minecraft version does CobbleCuisine support?

The Fabric files target Minecraft 1.21.1. The mod's own description calls it an add-on for Cobblemon 1.6 and 1.7, so Cobblemon is required alongside it. Only Fabric files are published, and the mod is still in beta, so back up your worlds before installing.

Can I use CobbleCuisine on NeoForge?

The mod is made for Fabric. Its page says it works on NeoForge through Sinytra Connector, together with Fabric Language Kotlin. Treat that as a workaround rather than native support, and back up your worlds first since the mod is still in beta.
