Create Deco is a Java mod that adds industrial, urban and steampunk building blocks styled to match Create. It runs on NeoForge and Fabric, with Forge builds stopped, and it is needed on both sides, so players and hosts must install it.

Loaders and versions

  • NeoForge: Minecraft 1.21.1. The newest build needs no dependencies; some builds for 1.21.1 require Create.
  • Fabric: Minecraft 1.20.1. The newest build requires Create Fabric.
  • Forge: Minecraft 1.20.1, builds stopped after April 2025. The newest build requires Create.

What Create Deco adds

The core of the mod is a set of metal block families, each offered in six materials: Andesite, Zinc, Iron, Industrial Iron, Copper and Brass. That keeps a build visually consistent with Create's own palette.

  • Structure pieces: support blocks, support wedges, train hulls, catwalks, catwalk railings and catwalk stairs.
  • Lighting and cover: cage lamps in four light colours, sheet metal, windows with panes, bars, opaque paneled bars and chain link fences.
  • Details: doors, ladders and coin stacks with matching coin items.

Beyond metal, decals carry symbols such as a fire hazard or restricted area warning. Shipping containers come in all 16 dye colours and act like Item Vaults with a new look.

Eight brick colours round out the set: Red, Scarlet, Blue, Umber, Dean, Dusk, Verdant and Pearl. Each can be short, long, tiled, cracked or mossy, and all have stairs and slabs.

Installation

  1. 1.Install the loader that matches your build. The guides cover Fabric and NeoForge.
  2. 2.Place the Create Deco file and any required dependency from the list above in the mods folder.
  3. 3.Launch with the loader's profile, and make sure the host and every player have the same mod installed.

Questions about Create Deco.

4 questions

Does Create Deco need Create?

It depends on the loader and the file. The newest NeoForge release needs no dependencies, while some earlier NeoForge builds and the stopped Forge builds require Create. The newest Fabric build requires Create Fabric. Check the requirements listed with the file you choose.

Does Create Deco work on multiplayer servers?

Yes. The mod is required on both sides, so the host and every player should install it, using the same loader.

What blocks does Create Deco add?

It adds catwalks, support blocks, cage lamps, sheet metal, windows, bars, chain link fences, doors, ladders, coin stacks, decals and shipping containers in 16 colours, plus eight brick colours with stairs and slabs.

Is Create Deco still updated for Forge?

No. Forge builds stopped after April 2025. The NeoForge and Fabric builds are both newer than that, so those are the loaders to choose.
