The DragonLoot mod gives the Ender Dragon a reward worth farming. It runs on Fabric, covers 1.19.2 to 1.21.1, and has to be installed on both sides of a multiplayer setup. Killing the dragon drops dragon scales, a new crafting material for armor and an anvil.

What the dragon scales make
Scales craft a full set of dragon armor. The four pieces are listed with durability and defense pairs of 962/7, 1295/10, 1184/9 and 1036/7, from the top piece down.
The second recipe is the Dragon anvil. It works like a normal anvil, but it never breaks, has no level cap, and will not ask for more than 30 levels of experience. For long enchanting and repair sessions, that last rule matters most.
Installing DragonLoot
- 1.Install the Fabric Loader for your target release. The Fabric install guide covers it.
- 2.Add Fabric API and Cloth Config API to the mods folder. Both are installed separately, while any other dependencies come bundled with the mod.
- 3.Drop the DragonLoot file into the same mods folder, then launch with the Fabric profile.
- 4.On a multiplayer world, repeat the steps on the dedicated host, since the mod is required on both sides.

Trade-offs
The feature set is deliberately narrow. It adds one material, one armor set and one anvil, with no new mobs or dimensions. Bugs go to the GitHub issue tracker, and a wiki page is linked from the Modrinth listing.

Does DragonLoot work with Forge?
No. DragonLoot is developed for Fabric, and the creator states there are no plans for a Forge release. You need the Fabric Loader plus Fabric API and Cloth Config API to run it.
