Ketket's Player Shops is a player shops datapack that also ships as a mod for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt. It lets players open their own shops, sell any item for any item, and keep other players from breaking or emptying them. It must be installed on the host, and players who join do not need it.
Loaders and versions
- Fabric, Forge and Quilt: Minecraft 1.20.3 to 26.3. The newest build needs no dependencies.

What it does
The system stays close to vanilla and aims to make trading feel built in. Villagers are the only competition.
- Sell any item in exchange for any item you choose.
- Other players cannot break, withdraw from or store in your shop without permission.
- Admins can create an infinitely stocked shop for everyone to use.
- Shops can be customised to suit your own style.
Two ways to install

- 1.Datapack route. Put the zip in the world's datapacks folder, run /reload, then confirm the pack loaded.
- 2.Mod route. Pick the file made for your loader and your Minecraft release, then put it in the mods folder and launch with that loader's profile.

How do I install Ketket's Player Shops?
For the datapack, place the zip in your world's datapacks folder, run /reload and confirm it loaded. For the mod, put the file matching your loader and Minecraft release in the mods folder and start with that loader's profile. Either route needs to be present on the host.
Does Ketket's Player Shops work on NeoForge?
Yes. NeoForge has its own mod files, alongside Fabric, Forge and Quilt. NeoForge support starts at a later Minecraft release than the other three loaders, so check the loaders and versions list on this page. The plain datapack also covers setups with no loader.
Can other players steal from my shop?
No. Without permission, players cannot break, withdraw from or store items in someone else's shop. Admins can also create an infinitely stocked shop for players to buy from.
How do I uninstall Ketket's Player Shops?
Run /function ketket_shops:uninstall, then disable the datapack. If any shop material remains in the world, run /kill @e[type=ketket_shop] to clear the leftover shop entities.
