Rustic Delight is an add-on for Farmer's Delight that adds new crops, blocks and dishes in the spirit of the original mod and vanilla play. It runs on Fabric, NeoForge and Forge, and it must be installed on both sides of a multiplayer setup. Each feature is configurable, so you can trim what you do not want.
Loaders and versions
- Fabric: Minecraft 1.20.1 to 26.3. The newest build requires Farmer's Delight Refabricated, Cloth Config API and Fabric API; some builds for 1.20.1 to 26.1.2 require Farmer's Delight Refabricated and Cloth Config API; some builds for 1.21 to 1.21.1 need no dependencies; some builds for 1.20.1 to 1.21.1 require Farmer's Delight Refabricated.
- NeoForge: Minecraft 1.20.1 to 1.21.1. The newest build requires Farmer's Delight; some builds for 1.20.1 need no dependencies.
- Forge: Minecraft 1.19.2 to 1.20.1. The newest build requires Farmer's Delight; some builds for 1.20.1 need no dependencies.
What it adds
- Pancakes, made from Batter and Syrup. They sit in the world as decorative blocks like cake, and you right-click to eat one from the stack or use a knife to take one with you. Flavors are Classic, Honey, cherry blossom, chocolate, pumpkin and a vegetable variant, each with its own bonus effects.
- Coffee in several flavors, granting Speed and Haste. Golden Coffee Beans brew Haste potions.
- Bell peppers in red, yellow and green, used in Stuffed Bell Pepper and Bell Pepper Pasta. Wild bell peppers and wild coffee grow in the jungle.
- Cotton, found wild in forests and farmable. It crafts into String, Paper or Canvas, and Cotton Seeds become Cooking Oil in the Cooking Pot for Spring Rolls, Fruit Beignet and Fried Chicken.
- Calamari, dropped by squids and glow squids. Cook and slice it for Fried Calamari, a Calamari Roll or the Rice Roll Royale.
The wild crops give exploration a purpose. Cotton replaces a spider farm as a source of string, and the jungle becomes a stop for peppers and coffee.

Compatibility and trade-offs
The creator lists Brewin' and Chewin', Botany Pots, Serene Seasons and Thirst Was Taken as supported companions. With Brewin' and Chewin', the foods can be placed on a Coaster. The pancakes also exist as a standalone mod, Rustic Pancakes, if that is all you want.
Questions about Rustic Delight.
4 questions
How do I install Rustic Delight?
Install Fabric, NeoForge or Forge for your release, then add Farmer's Delight (Farmer's Delight Refabricated on Fabric) and any other required library. Put the Rustic Delight file in the mods folder and launch with the loader's profile. Everything must match the loader you chose.
Does Rustic Delight need Farmer's Delight?
Yes. Rustic Delight is an add-on, and its newest files on every loader require Farmer's Delight. On Fabric the requirement is Farmer's Delight Refabricated, plus Cloth Config API and Fabric API for the newest file.
Does Rustic Delight work in multiplayer?
Yes, but it is required on both sides. Players and the host each need the mod and its dependencies installed, because it adds new blocks, crops and food items that both ends must recognise.
Does Rustic Delight work on Bedrock?
No. It is a Java mod built for Fabric, NeoForge and Forge, and Bedrock cannot load mods in that format.
