The SeasonHud mod puts the current season on your screen. It is a Fabric add-on that reads the season from a supported season mod and prints it on the HUD. The client needs it; the server side is optional.

Minimap support
When a supported map mod is present, the season moves under the minimap with the other info lines. Optional support covers Xaero's Minimap, JourneyMap, FTB Chunks and MapAtlases, with Voxelmap on 1.16.5 only.
On JourneyMap 1.21 and later, Season appears as an InfoSlot option in the minimap settings. If every slot is already used, open the JourneyMap addon settings and enable the option to add an extra InfoSlot, then pick the top or bottom set. This needs JourneyMap 1.21-6.0.0-beta.25 or newer.
Installing it
- 1.Install Fabric for your Minecraft version, following the Fabric install guide.
- 2.Add SeasonHud, Forge Config API Port and the season mod that matches your build to the mods folder.
- 3.Launch with the Fabric profile. The general steps are in the Java mod install guide.
The trade-off is plain: it is a display tool with no gameplay effect of its own. The mod's other links include a Disable SeasonHUD Curios/Trinkets/Accessories datapack.

Does SeasonHud add seasons to Minecraft?
No. It only displays the season. You need a supported season mod such as Serene Seasons, Fabric Seasons or Homeostatic Seasons, and SeasonHud reads the current season from it and shows it on the HUD or under a supported minimap.
