Xaero's Minimap is a client-side mod for Minecraft Java Edition that adds a live minimap to the corner of your HUD. It shows terrain, players, mobs, and named entities in real time, and lets you create waypoints to mark coordinates you want to find again. The mod ships separate builds for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge, and Quilt and covers releases from 1.16.5 through the current 1.21.x generation.

Installation

Multiplayer and Server Use

Xaero's Minimap runs entirely client-side. No server installation is needed, and it works on vanilla servers, modded servers, and Minecraft Realms. Waypoints are saved per dimension and per server address, so your markers on one server do not appear on another. On multiplayer, the mod can display other players and mobs within render range.

No extra libraries are required on Forge or NeoForge. Fabric users may also want Fabric API installed, though Xaero's Minimap does not strictly require it.
