Stellarity Lite is a Minecraft Java worldgen mod and datapack that rebuilds The End with 23 biomes, redesigned strongholds and End Cities, and new structures. It loads on Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, and the same content also ships as a plain datapack. The server must have it, while the client is optional.
Loaders and versions
- Fabric, Forge and Quilt: Minecraft 1.20 to 26.2. The newest build needs no dependencies.
- NeoForge: Minecraft 1.21 to 26.2. The newest build needs no dependencies.
What changes in The End
The 23 biomes include four reworked vanilla End biomes and sort into fields, barrens, forests and frozen variants. Islands are no longer tied to one Y level, so terrain takes far more shapes than the stock End.
- Strongholds are about 5x larger and guarded by Illagers, who drop new items that help against the Ender Dragon.
- End Cities are rebuilt for difficulty. Inspired by Trial Chambers, they use Trial Spawners that produce upgraded Overworld mobs.
- Almost every End City tower holds a protective End Crystal that stops nearby players from placing or breaking blocks.
- Small ambient structures are scattered across the dimension, including a village where villagers sell different things.
Installing the datapack or the mod
- 1.Start a new world, or reset The End by deleting the world_the_end folder in the server files (the DIM1 folder in a single-player world folder).
- 2.Datapack route for single-player or LAN worlds: put the datapack in the datapacks folder.
- 3.Datapack route for multiplayer: use the datapacks folder, and set enable-command-blocks to true in server.properties.
- 4.Mod route: put the mod file in the mods folder for your loader. The mod installation guide covers the steps.
Compatibility and trade-offs
Stellarity Lite is fully incompatible with BetterEnd, which scatters micro-biomes across the dimension, and with YUNG's Better End Island, since both rework the main island in different ways. Other custom Dragon fight datapacks or mods probably clash as well.
Enlightend and End's Phantasm are partially incompatible. Stellarity's biomes take priority and block theirs from generating. Editing Stellarity's the_end.json to swap in their biomes fixes it, though it can take a few attempts to avoid micro-biomes.
This is a community-driven fork of kohara's Stellarity that keeps only the worldgen half. Support, bug fixes and updates are not guaranteed.
Questions about Stellarity ~ Lite.
4 questions
How do I install Stellarity Lite?
Use a new world, or reset The End by deleting the world_the_end folder on a server (DIM1 in a single-player world). Then put the datapack in the datapacks folder, or put the mod file in the mods folder of a matching Fabric, Forge, NeoForge or Quilt install.
Does Stellarity Lite work on multiplayer servers?
Yes. The server needs it, and the client is optional. With the datapack route, put it in the datapacks folder and set enable-command-blocks to true in server.properties. Install it on a completely new world, or reset The End first.
Is Stellarity Lite compatible with BetterEnd?
No. BetterEnd causes many micro-biomes to generate across the dimension and breaks workarounds the datapack relies on. YUNG's Better End Island is also fully incompatible, because both change the main island differently. Enlightend and End's Phantasm are only partly compatible and need manual edits to the_end.json.
What is the difference between Stellarity Lite and Stellarity?
Stellarity Lite is a fork of kohara's Stellarity that keeps only the worldgen part, meaning the new biomes, rebuilt strongholds and End Cities, and new structures. It is community-driven, with no guaranteed support, bug fixes or updates.
