Skyblock Infinite is a skyblock infinite datapack that replaces terrain with void in any seed, so no land generates however far you travel. It also ships as a mod for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt. It must be present on the server, and it is optional for players joining.
Loaders and versions
- Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt: Minecraft 1.20 to 26.3. The newest build needs no dependencies.
Installing as a datapack
- 1.Start creating a new world and open the More tab at the top left.
- 2.Click Data Packs, then Open Pack Folder.
- 3.Drag the datapack file into that folder.
- 4.Select Skyblock Infinite in the Available list.
- 5.Finish creating the world.
Installing as a mod
Pick the file that matches your loader, drop it into the mods folder and launch with that loader's profile. If you have not set up a loader yet, the guide to installing Java mods covers the steps. The newest release needs no other mods.
What changes in the world
There is no world border and no terrain, only void. Important structures still generate, floating in the emptiness. Witch huts, nether fortresses and strongholds are all part of that, so exploring remains worthwhile.
A config menu picks how islands appear. Seed mode builds islands from the biome you stand in. Classic mode gives the familiar skyblock grid. The creator plans more options for this menu.
Island designs came from community builders. Doovid made Jagged Peaks, Swamp, Badlands and Dark Forest. PandaX made Mangrove, Lush Cave, Desert, Savanna, Birch and several others. Porg Collector, Andergamez, MrAmericanMike, WolfButterCup and Anathra each added single biomes.

Does Skyblock Infinite work on Realms?
No. The project uses custom terrain generation, which Realms does not support. It also does not work on Bedrock Edition. For multiplayer, run it on your own server or a host that allows custom datapacks and mods.
How do I install the Skyblock Infinite datapack?
Create a new world, open the More tab, choose Data Packs, then Open Pack Folder. Drop the datapack file in, select it in the Available list and finish creating the world.
Does Skyblock Infinite work with any seed?
Yes. It generates void for any seed. In Seed mode, islands follow the biome you are in, while Classic mode uses the traditional skyblock grid layout.
