Touhou Little Maid adds maid companion NPCs to Minecraft Java, built around character designs from Touhou Project. Summon a maid, hand her a task through her menu, and she fights nearby hostiles, farms and replants crops, or chops and replants trees around your base. The mod runs on Forge or NeoForge, needs no other mod to work, and is required on both the client and the server.
What Touhou Little Maid adds
Each maid card summons a companion with her own task menu, not a decoration. Give her a weapon and she defends the area. Give her farming or woodcutting tools and she works a field or a tree farm on her own. The mod ships dozens of default maid skins, and its custom model system supports importing or building further looks, so a base can run several visually distinct maids handling different jobs. It needs no other mod to function, so it drops cleanly into most Forge or NeoForge setups alongside anything else in our Java mods library.
Forge and NeoForge version support
The two loader builds are not on the same Minecraft version. NeoForge is the actively updated line and reaches release 1.21.1 in the 1.5.3 build published in May 2026. Forge stopped at 1.20.1, a full major version behind, published from that same 1.5.3 release on the same day. Anyone running the newest supported Minecraft release needs NeoForge. Forge installs are capped at 1.20.1 unless that line resumes.

Fan content and licensing
Touhou Little Maid is unofficial fan content. It reuses character names and designs from Touhou Project, ZUN's shoot-em-up series, with no affiliation, endorsement, or license from that franchise. TartaricAcid dual-licenses the project. The code is MIT, and the maid art and models are Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0, so the assets can be shared and remixed for non-commercial use with credit and the same license carried forward, but not resold or folded into a paid product.
