Zoomify is a client-side Fabric mod that gives Minecraft Java a configurable zoom key. Unlike OptiFine's fixed zoom, Zoomify lets you set the zoom divisor, transition animation speed, scroll wheel zoom adjustment, and mouse sensitivity scaling independently through an in-game config screen. It supports Minecraft Java from 1.18 through the current 26.x releases and requires no shaders or rendering overhaul to work.
How to Install Zoomify on Fabric
Zoomify requires three dependencies in addition to Fabric Loader: Fabric API, Fabric Language Kotlin, and YetAnotherConfigLib (YACL). All are available on Modrinth. Mod Menu is optional but recommended for accessing the config screen in-game without editing a file.

Zoom Configuration Options
The config screen, accessed via Mod Menu or the /zoomify client command, exposes independent controls for every zoom behavior:
- Zoom divisor: how far the camera zooms in (default 4x).
- Transition type: instant, smooth lerp, or cinematic ease.
- Mouse sensitivity: retain normal feel, scale with zoom level, or lock to a fixed value.
- Scroll to zoom: hold the zoom key and scroll the mouse wheel to fine-tune magnification.
- Keybind: rebind the zoom key to any input in the Controls menu, default is C.
Compatibility with Sodium and Iris
Zoomify operates on the camera field of view and does not touch rendering internals, so it runs cleanly alongside Sodium, Iris, and any shader pack. It is a common addition to Fabric performance setups like Fabulously Optimized. Zoomify shipped Quilt-tagged builds through Minecraft 1.20.5; every release since has been Fabric-only, with no current Quilt build. There is no Forge or NeoForge build, and the mod has no server-side component.

Is Zoomify client-side?
Yes. Zoomify runs entirely on the client and only changes your local camera field of view, so it never needs installing on a server. It works on any multiplayer server regardless of what the server runs, including vanilla servers, because the zoom itself lives on your machine.
