DiSky is a Skript addon that lets a Minecraft server run Discord bots written in Skript. The disky plugin turns plain scripts into slash commands, embeds and event handlers. It is needed on the server only, and players join with a normal client.
Server software and versions
- Paper and Purpur: Minecraft 1.8 to 26.1.2. The newest build needs no dependencies.
- Spigot: Minecraft 1.12 to 26.1.2. The newest build needs no dependencies.
- Bukkit: Minecraft 1.13 to 1.21.5, builds stopped after April 2025. The newest build needs no dependencies.

What DiSky adds
DiSky is built on JDA, and it aims to expose anything a JDA bot can do as Skript syntax. Scripts stay short, so server owners can skip traditional programming.
- Bot creation and login from a script, using a bot token from the Discord Developer Portal.
- Slash commands declared in the script and sent to Discord explicitly.
- Rich embeds with titles, fields, colours and footers.
- Event handling, such as message receive and guild ready, to bridge Minecraft and Discord.
- Voice channel management, audio playback and webhook support.
Installation
- 1.Install Skript on the server first. DiSky does nothing without it.
- 2.Put the DiSky file in the plugins folder, next to Skript. The steps in how to install plugins apply.
- 3.Restart the server.
- 4.Create a bot token in the Discord Developer Portal, place it in a .sk script under plugins/Skript/scripts, and reload that script with /sk reload.
DiSky has no config file. At each boot it writes plugins/DiSky/disky-syntax.json, a list of every syntax it registered, and you do not need to edit it.
How to make a Discord bot with DiSky
Questions about DiSky.
3 questions
What is the DiSky plugin?
DiSky is a Skript addon for writing Discord bots on your Minecraft server. It is built on JDA and exposes Discord features such as slash commands, embeds, components, webhooks and events as Skript syntax, so you script a bot instead of programming one.
Does DiSky work without Skript?
No. DiSky is an addon, so Skript must be installed in the plugins folder beside it. Without Skript there is nothing to read your bot scripts, and the Discord syntax will not be available.
Do players need to install DiSky?
No. DiSky is server-side only and the client is unsupported. Players join with a normal client, and the bot talks to Discord from the server.
