The ExcellentEnchants plugin adds more than 80 vanilla-like enchantments to Paper, Purpur and Spigot servers. Each one can be tuned, and they behave like vanilla enchantments in anvils, grindstones and enchanting tables. It is a server-side plugin, so players join as usual and install nothing.
Server software and versions
- Paper, Purpur and Spigot: Minecraft 1.21.3 to 26.1.2. The newest build needs no dependencies; some builds for 1.21.4 to 1.21.10 require NightCore; builds for 1.21.3 to 1.21.4 require NightCore.
What it adds
Custom enchantments reach players through the enchanting table, villager trades, dungeon chests, fishing and mobs that spawn with enchanted gear. The plugin does not rewrite loot tables, trades or enchanting tables. It slots its enchantments in the way datapack enchantments arrive.

Configuration and compatibility
PlaceholderAPI placeholders are supported for display elsewhere. The plugin is designed to leave no lasting trace after removal, with no errors or crashes once it is gone.
Its focus is enchantments only, so it will not replace a full custom-items or skills plugin.

How do I install ExcellentEnchants?
Place the plugin file in your server's plugins folder and restart. Choose the file that matches your server software and Minecraft release. Older releases need NightCore installed first, while the newest file needs nothing extra. Players do not install anything themselves.
Does ExcellentEnchants work on Folia?
No. The creator's compatibility table marks Folia as unsupported for every release it lists. Builds are published for Paper, Purpur and Spigot only. Use one of those three server software options instead. Only the server needs the plugin, and players join as usual.
Does ExcellentEnchants change loot tables or villager trades?
It does not modify loot tables, villager trades or enchanting tables. Its enchantments are integrated the way vanilla or datapack enchantments are, and can still appear through the table, trades, chests, fishing and mob gear.
Can I remove ExcellentEnchants later?
Yes. The plugin is designed to leave no permanent impact after uninstalling, with no errors, bugs or crashes, as if it had never been installed. It does not modify loot tables, villager trades or enchanting tables, so there is nothing of that kind to undo.
Do I need a plugin for enchantment descriptions in tooltips?
Yes, for descriptions in item tooltips you need either PacketEvents or ProtocolLib, and only one of them. Both are optional. Without either, the enchantments still work normally.
