Infuse

Infuse turns the brewing stand into a crafting table for augmented effects that grant real in-game abilities. It runs on Paper and Purpur for Minecraft 1.21 through 26.2, broadcasting the coordinates whenever a player crafts an effect.

Infuse replaces the brewing stand with a crafting table interface for crafting augmented effects, items that grant players in-game abilities. It runs on Paper and Purpur for Minecraft 1.21 through 26.2 and is a server-side plugin, players join with a normal client and need nothing installed on their end.

How effects and rituals work

The first effect of each type crafted on a server starts a ten-minute ritual and comes out augmented, with half the cooldown of a regular version. The coordinates where any effect is crafted broadcast to the whole server, and once a ritual finishes the crafting player just needs to be present to receive the finished effect. The next three copies craft as regular effects, then it's uncraftable.

Commands and controls

  • /infuses lists every effect and what it does in game
  • /lspark and /rspark trigger the ability in the first or second effect slot
  • /controls switches between command-key activation and offhand activation
  • /ldrain and /rdrain turn an effect back into a tradeable bottle
  • /swap reorders a player's two effect slots, /cleareffects and /cooldown reset state

Dependencies and version ranges

Current builds for both Paper and Purpur run 1.21 through 26.2 with no required dependency, though WorldGuard and PlaceholderAPI are optional integrations on the newer 1.21.11-26.2 builds. Older builds covering 1.21 through 1.21.8 need PacketEvents installed alongside Infuse.

This page covers only the CatAdmirer-owned Java plugin hosted on Modrinth for Paper and Purpur servers.

Questions about Infuse.

5 questions

How do I install Infuse on a server

Drop the Infuse jar into the plugins folder of a Paper or Purpur server running a supported 1.21 to 26.2 build, then restart the server. Players do not install anything; they join with their normal client. See the general guide for installing plugins on Paper and Spigot for the full process.

Does Infuse work on Velocity or Folia

Nothing in Infuse's build list mentions Velocity or Folia, only Paper and Purpur are supported. Treat any Folia or proxy compatibility as unconfirmed until it appears on a build listing.

Does Infuse need PlaceholderAPI or WorldGuard installed

No, both are optional on current builds and only extend integration if present. Older builds from the 1.21 to 1.21.8 range instead require PacketEvents to function.

What is different between augmented and regular effects

The first copy of each effect type crafted on a server becomes augmented, with half the cooldown of later copies, and triggers a ten-minute ritual before it finishes. The next three crafted copies are regular effects with the standard cooldown.
