The PlayerPoints plugin adds a points currency to Folia, Paper and Spigot servers. It continues Blackixx's original PlayerPoints and is now maintained by Rosewood Development. It runs on the server only, so players install nothing and join as usual.
Server software and versions
- Folia: Minecraft 1.8.8 to 26.2. The newest build needs no dependencies.
- Paper and Spigot: Minecraft 1.8 to 26.2. The newest build needs no dependencies.
What it does
PlayerPoints keeps a balance for every player and is built to act as a primary or a secondary economy. Plugins that support it directly can read and spend those points. Everything else can reach them through Vault, which is optional.
- Give points to players and take points away.
- Send payments between players.
- Check your own balance or another player's.
- Show a leaderboard of the players holding the most points.
- Store data in SQLite or MySQL, with an option to export it.
- Control each command through its own permission.
Installation
- 1.Download the plugin file from the Modrinth page.
- 2.Place it in the plugins folder of your Folia, Paper or Spigot server.

Questions about PlayerPoints.
5 questions
How do I install the PlayerPoints plugin?
Download the plugin file from Modrinth, drop it into the plugins folder of your Folia, Paper or Spigot server, and restart. Players do not install anything, since PlayerPoints runs on the server side only and they join with a normal setup.
Does PlayerPoints work on Folia?
Yes. The Modrinth page lists Folia builds alongside Paper and Spigot, and the newest release, 3.3.5, needs no dependencies.
Do I need Vault to use PlayerPoints?
No. Vault support is optional. Plugins that support PlayerPoints directly can use points on their own, and Vault only matters when you want other economy-aware plugins to see the balances. The newest build lists no required dependencies.
Does PlayerPoints need a permissions plugin?
Each command has its own permission node, and the wiki covers the commands and permissions. The newest build lists no required dependencies.
Where does PlayerPoints store its data?
PlayerPoints supports both SQLite and MySQL, and it can export its data. Full support for each is listed among its core features. The wiki is the place to look for the rest of the plugin's documentation.
