Auction House Plugin is an auction house plugin for Minecraft that puts a player-run market behind one command, /ah. It runs on Bukkit, Folia, Paper, Purpur and Spigot, and it is needed on the server only. Players join with a normal client and install nothing.
Server software and versions
- Bukkit, Folia, Paper, Purpur and Spigot: Minecraft 1.21 to 26.2. The newest build needs no dependencies.
What players can do
- Open the market with /ah and list an item with /ah sell for a fixed Buy It Now price.
- Run timed bidding auctions with /ah bid. Each new bid must rise by a set percentage, and late bids extend the clock.
- Toggle auction announcements with /ah announce.
Configuration and permissions
The defaults in config.yml are a 1% tax, 10 auctions per player, Buy It Now listings lasting 48 hours and bidding auctions lasting 2 hours, with each bid at least 25% higher. Auto-collect and partial selling are both off. You can turn either sale type off, set minimum prices, and change how quickly item displays refresh.
A permissions.yml file ties auction slots and durations to ranks, so a vip or mvp group can hold more listings for longer. layout.yml lets you swap, move or remove the icons in the menu, and messages.yml takes standard colour codes.
Admins get /ah admin, which opens the market and lets them delete any listing with a click, and /ah ban, which blocks a player from using it. Non-op staff need the auctionhouse.moderator permission. Command descriptions are shown in-game.
Installation
- 1.Install Vault (or VaultUnlocked on Folia) and an economy plugin first.
- 2.Place the plugin file in the plugins folder and restart the server. The plugin install guide covers the steps.

How do I open the auction house?
Type /ah in chat to open the auction house. To list an item, use /ah sell for a fixed Buy It Now price, or /ah bid to start a bidding auction instead. Players can switch auction announcements on or off with /ah announce. The plugin provides a description for each command in-game.
Does Auction House Plugin need Vault?
Yes. The plugin's own page lists Vault as a requirement, or VaultUnlocked if you run Folia, plus an economy plugin such as Essentials or BetterEconomy. Modrinth shows no dependencies, but the plugin needs an economy to handle payments between players.
Does Auction House Plugin work on Folia?
Yes. Folia is one of the listed loaders, alongside Bukkit, Paper, Purpur and Spigot. On Folia the plugin's page asks for VaultUnlocked in place of Vault, and you still need an economy plugin to handle the money.
How do I give VIPs more auction slots?
Use permissions.yml. Add a rank or permission name under auction-slots to set how many listings it allows, and under auction-duration to set how long its auctions last in seconds. The defaults in config.yml apply to everyone else.
Who can delete or ban players from the auction house?
