ProAntiTab is a plugin hider for Bukkit, Spigot, Paper, Folia, Purpur, Velocity, BungeeCord and Waterfall servers. It hides commands, trims tab-completion and suggestions, and blocks plugin spoofing attempts. It runs on the server side only, and players join with an unmodified game.
Server software and versions
- Bukkit, BungeeCord, Folia, Paper, Purpur, Spigot, Velocity and Waterfall: Minecraft 1.8.8 to 26.2. The newest build needs no dependencies, optionally LuckPerms, PAPIProxyBridge and PlaceholderAPI.
What it changes
- Blacklist or whitelist commands. One switch in config.yml turns the blacklist into a whitelist that blocks every command not listed.
- Block sub-arguments. Allow "/help Minecraft" but not "/help apple". Prefixes such as [CMD] and [TAB] separate running a command from completing it, and _- cuts off everything after a point.
- Block namespace commands such as essentials:warp. Players with the proantitab.namespace permission can still use them.
- Fake output. Write your own /plugins list and your own version command reply, for example a list that shows zero plugins.
- Custom F3 brand. Replace the software name shown in F3 with an animated text cycle, using %player%, %displayname%, %world% and PlaceholderAPI values.
Setting it up
Drop the file into the plugins folder and restart, as described in our plugin installation guide. Nothing is required to run it. PlaceholderAPI adds placeholders to the animated brand.

How do I install ProAntiTab?
Place the plugin file in the plugins folder of your Paper, Spigot, Velocity or other supported server, then restart. Edit config.yml to choose which commands to hide. Players need nothing extra, because the plugin runs only on the server side.
Does ProAntiTab need a permissions plugin?
No. The newest release has no required dependencies, and LuckPerms is optional. PlaceholderAPI is also optional and supplies extra placeholders for the custom F3 brand. The proantitab.namespace permission lets chosen players use namespace commands again.
Does ProAntiTab work on Folia and Velocity?
Yes. Folia and Velocity appear among its supported platforms, alongside Paper, Spigot, Purpur, Bukkit, BungeeCord and Waterfall. On a proxy network, the custom F3 brand works on Spigot, BungeeCord and Velocity servers.
Can ProAntiTab stop plugin spoofing?
It detects and blocks plugin spoofing attempts, which cheat tools use to discover what a server runs. Hiding the plugin list, namespace commands and tab suggestions removes the other places that information usually leaks.
