Better Sounds is a Bedrock resource pack by Shadow666zx that replaces vanilla audio with clearer, more satisfying effects. It has no loader and no companion requirement, and it is aimed at PVP and survival worlds.

Supported versions

  • Minecraft 26.0 to 26.50.

What changes

The pack covers the sounds you hear most often in a fight or a long survival session. Block sounds are not one-size-fits-all: breaking, placing and walking on blocks each get distinct audio per block type.

  • Player and mob hits, plus mace smashing
  • Bow loading and shooting
  • Shield blocking and disabling
  • Chest opening and closing, ender pearls, potion bottles
  • Eating, drinking, lava and water
  • Block breaking, block placing and footsteps, different for every block

How to install Better Sounds

  1. 1.Download the .mcpack file from the CurseForge page and open it with Minecraft. It imports on its own.
  2. 2.Open your world's settings and go to Resource Packs.
  3. 3.Activate Better Sounds, then load the world.

If the pack does not appear, the add-on install guide covers manual folder placement, and the fix guide covers common import failures.
