Better Vibrant Visuals is a Bedrock resource pack by Aleeee that sits on top of Vibrant Visuals and improves its colors, waters, sunbeams and skies. Use it to get a more dramatic Vibrant Visuals look without leaving the built-in renderer.

Supported versions

  • Minecraft 26.50.

What changes visually

  • Static lighting on almost all light-emitting blocks, with colored light on candles and many other sources.
  • Glow berries now carry static lighting too, and other blocks have had their lighting tweaked.
  • Reflective textures, such as quartz.
  • Reworked colors, water, sunbeams and skies compared with the Vibrant Visuals base.

The creator is still adding colored light to more blocks, so coverage is not complete. The pack is listed across x16, x32, x64 and x128 resolutions.

Default or Vanilla

Two flavors are included. Default adds realistic water waves and realistic caustics. Vanilla keeps vanilla water without waves, plus vanilla clouds, caustics, sun and moon.

Requirements and setup

Vibrant Visuals needs the beta or preview release of Bedrock, and the Vibrant Visuals option switched on when you create or edit a world. The pack works as a Vibrant Visuals pack or as a deferred pack, and the creator prefers the deferred route so every feature is available. Follow the Bedrock add-on install guide to import it, and see fixing add-ons that will not load if it does not appear.
