Definitive Vibrant Visuals

A realistic Bedrock pack that gives every biome its own colour mood, with static coloured lighting, caustic water and metallic effects. It needs the Vibrant Visuals option switched on and a capable GPU.

Definitive Vibrant Visuals is a realistic Bedrock pack by Aleeee that builds on Vibrant Visuals lighting. Each biome gets its own mood, with warm tones in hot biomes and cold tones in frozen ones. It runs on Windows, Xbox, PS5, Android and iOS, and as a Bedrock add-on it has no loaders.

Supported versions

  • Minecraft 26.50.

What changes visually

  • Realistic shadows and lighting, with colour grading that shifts by biome.
  • Water with caustics. A Low variant removes the wavy water for better performance.
  • Metallic effects on tools, armour, iron golems and copper golems, plus shiny minerals and metal blocks. The creator says some metallic textures are still missing and are being added.
  • Static lighting on almost all light-emitting blocks, including colour-based candle light, glow berries and sculk glow.
  • Reflective textures such as quartz.

The pack is listed under x16, x32, x64 and x128 on CurseForge. It works as a Vibrant Visuals pack or as a deferred pack, and the creator prefers the deferred route so every feature is available.

How to install it

  1. 1.Open the file from the CurseForge page with Bedrock so it imports. The add-on install guide covers each device.
  2. 2.Enable the beta/preview release of Bedrock.
  3. 3.Create or edit a world, turn on the Vibrant Visuals option, then activate the pack under Resource Packs.

Trade-offs

This is a heavy lighting pack, not a light texture tweak. It needs the beta/preview release and a GPU that meets the listed floor, and the metallic coverage is still growing. Redistribution is prohibited, so use the CurseForge page as the only source.

Questions about Definitive Vibrant Visuals.

4 questions

How do I install Definitive Vibrant Visuals?

Open the file from CurseForge with Bedrock so it imports, then enable the beta/preview release. When you create or edit a world, switch on the Vibrant Visuals option and activate the pack under Resource Packs in the world settings.

Does Definitive Vibrant Visuals work on Java Edition?

No. It is a Bedrock pack and Java Edition cannot load it. The creator lists Windows, Xbox, PS5, Android and iOS as supported platforms.

What GPU does Definitive Vibrant Visuals need?

On mobile, an Adreno 640 (Snapdragon 855), a Mali GPU from the Mediatek 1000 series, or an A12 Bionic. On PC, a GPU with DirectX 12FL11 is recommended. A Low variant removes wavy water to ease the load.

Should I use it as a deferred pack?

The creator prefers the deferred pack route because it makes every feature available. The pack can also run as a regular Vibrant Visuals pack, but some features may then be missing.
