Default-Style Christmas Pack is a 16x resource pack for Java that keeps the vanilla look and layers festive detail on top. It is the pick for players who want a default style Christmas pack, not a full overhaul. It works on the player's side only, so you install it in your own pack folder.

Supported versions

  • Minecraft 1.20 to 1.21.11.

What changes visually

  • Festive lights on spruce trees, and in place of iron bars
  • Gingerbread cookies and candy cane sugar cane
  • Cozy bees and gingerbread creepers, drawn by Kobro
  • A wintery environment, similar to the Winter Pack
  • Placeable snowmen that replace peonies
  • A candy cane GUI

Companion mods and settings

The creator recommends Entity Model Features, Entity Texture Features and Continuity, or OptiFine in place of Continuity. OptiFine is strongly recommended. Two optional extras pair well, the Wearable Christmas Hats resource pack (turns the pumpkin model into a Santa hat) and the Fabric mod Soft Weather (makes snow and rain nicer to look at).
