Complementary Reimagined is the vanilla-like style of EminGT's Complementary Shaders, a shader pack for Minecraft Java that loads through Iris or OptiFine. It keeps the blocky identity of the world and layers high-quality effects on top. Bedrock cannot run it, because both loaders are Java mods.

Reimagined and Unbound styles
One pack carries two visual styles, and the only difference is the default settings. Reimagined sets out to reimagine Minecraft while preserving its unique visual elements. Unbound aims at a more realistic look. Nothing is locked, so you can switch to blocky clouds on Unbound or turn on realistic water on Reimagined. Every option sits in Shader Options.
Effects and performance
The pack offers a long list of high-quality effects, with custom handling for almost every block. It is designed never to get in the way of play. Profiles run from Potato to Ultra, so you pick a starting point for your hardware and tune from there.
Complementary began in 2018 as an edit of BSL Shaders and was later fully rewritten. It still receives regular updates, shaped mainly by user feedback.

Questions about Complementary Reimagined.
4 questions
How do I install Complementary Reimagined?
Install Iris or OptiFine, open the Shader Packs menu in Video Settings, and use the button to open the shaderpacks folder. Place the pack's .zip there without unzipping it. Back in the menu, refresh the list if needed and select Complementary.
What is the difference between Reimagined and Unbound?
Only the default settings differ. Reimagined keeps Minecraft's unique visual elements, while Unbound targets a more realistic look. Everything can be changed in Shader Options, so you can use blocky clouds on Unbound or realistic water on Reimagined.
Does Complementary Reimagined work on Bedrock?
No. It is a Java shader pack that needs Iris or OptiFine, and both are Java mods. Bedrock uses a different shader format, so this pack cannot be loaded there.
Is Complementary Reimagined good for low-end PCs?
It ships profiles from Potato to Ultra, so the lowest profile is meant for weaker hardware. How it actually runs depends on your machine, so start low and raise settings step by step in Shader Options.
